Join us on Saturday, July 15 th at 8:30am for a one-hour vinyasa flow yoga class for only $20. This one hour vinyasa flow will be geared for students of all levels and will be led by Tracy Affonso. There will be plenty of modifications suggested to meet the needs of all the participants. Lavish the senses with the early-morning ambiance of peaceful surroundings. Our South Coast climate stirs the senses in ways that help you relax. Reap the benefits of a heightened state of focus, awareness, and calm that yoga brings.

We will start with short, focused breath work, move into our flow, and finish on our backs with a guided savasana (yoga nap) designed to activate all five senses. Bring your yoga mat, water, a smile, and an open-minded attitude.

A Good Cause

All proceeds will be donated to the David M Affonso Memorial Foundation Inc. This foundation was created in the memory of David M. Affonso, who succumbed to lung cancer in April of 2009. Our goal is to provide financial assistance to patients in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island who have been diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment.

About Tracy Affonso

Tracy is a Massachusetts native who will spend the summer and fall of 2016 transitioning from her role as a 4th grade classroom teacher to a full-time yoga and meditation teacher. Tracy teaches public and private yoga and meditation classes in the greater Boston area. She has participated on panels and lead workshops on bringing mindfulness into the classroom for Kripalu and the Massachusetts Teachers Association. Tracy’s classes are a fun physical practice infused with a sense of calming energy. She mindfully instructs her students through sequences, while offering them the space to listen to their bodies and move with intention.
